I Have Moved Over To The Other Side
To my friends and watchers...

I have stopped posting here. I will comment on other blogs but not create any new ones of my own. I will only post in the new community.

Why are so many reluctant to embrace the new community? Sure it has glitches and is a work-in-progress. It is improving based on member feedback. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

It is time to rip the bandage off. Follow me over there rather than waiting until this side is closed down. I have posted something new there.

Yes, some of the basic fundamentals of usability in which minimal clicks to get to what you want to get to don’t exist. I do see improvements based on member feedback.

The migration is one-directional. It’s also temporary populating that beta space while members/users provide feedback.

 For the uniformed:
1. Why did we need two blogs?
2. Are they shutting down the old blog?
3. If we don’t know where the new one is, after they shut the old one down, will we have to actively search for it, or does this old blog automatically become the new blog?
4. Was this a priority? Were users clamoring for a new blog?

Lots of glitches, the technology is 20 years old and overdue for an upgrade.
Announcements about the ‘new’ side and requests for feedback have been ongoing. At the top of the main blog page there are embedded links (the words in blue). Click on those to check out the new space. When you are over there, also look at the help section. It should answer all your questions.

I am not leaving the site.
My understanding is that this side will disappear and be fully replaced by the ‘new’.
Blogging is my main interest so It makes sense for me to adapt to the ‘new’.

 Well before I go and experiment with the BETA I am get a huge stack of paper a spare ink cartridge and printing all the Virtual Symposium entries as far back as Symposium #20. There are some spectacular writers whose work should not b e deleted. I wil go check it however.

No I had no idea they had been moved. I am sorry I didnt print the ones that Nora wrote about growing up in Russia. They were works of art. They were removed when a friend got her blog shut off after she died

Adding a post is actually quite simple and is posted almost immediately. So is adding pictures and links to YouTube.
