If given a choice.... I'd pick shoving a dried out corn cob up my ass before watching the movie 'Anaconda' ever again. Now that's 89 minutes of my life that I'll never get back again. I've gotta wonder.... Just how in the hell did they get so many notable actors to star in such a cheesy movie?? Good God.... Between Jennifer Lopez's lack of eyebrows, Owen Wilson's yellow hair, Ice Cube's stereotype role with the ghuetto blaster, and the tacky 'romantic' scenes and writing intermingled with imminent danger, I didn't know whether I wanted to poke my eyes out or vomit. Egads.... Note to self: Do not listen to coworkers when they say to you... "What do you mean you haven't watched that movie?!? It's awesome!" They lie. Happy Tuesday! |

I've seen 'Anaconda' but only once! I watched 'The Conjuring' last night but as I'd watched it before, it wasn't as scary as the first time. Horror movies never are!

no, secret_lade, anaconda is the movie you put on when you gotta clean around the house; it plays in the background and you listen for the cheesy dialog and lol. that movie was billed as a horror/thriller when really it should have been a horror/comedy like the betty white picture lake placid which also had "so many notable actors" chasing after a devouring reptilia too. not suggesting that you sit down for lake placid but if you ever need to clean the house, . ..

Ah yes....gotta love it when EVERYONE knows what movie you would enjoy watching! Yeah...I don't think so. I've had a few people tell me I HAVE to watch a particular movie. No, actually I DON'T! But now I may start telling them I will if they will shove a dried out corn cob up their ass if I do! Thanks for a new way to deter their attempts to pick my entertainment!

I squinted when I watched that flick. Now that you mention it, she had no eyebrows? 🤔 Hmmm... Maybe I gotta check it out again. I didn't realize that it was a comedy. Ever watch a movie that's SO bad, ya gotta sit through the whole thing to see how much worse it can be? 🤔 I think about the time I'll never get back, whenever I read a stupid email at work or go to a meeting that was a complete waste of time or like today... I was put on hold by my cable company for fourteen and a half minutes, so they could verify something that I already knew — my fricken converter is blown. 😶❗❗

I am not a fan of the remakes or retooling of movies. Sequels are never as good as the original, they're usually a second stab at the same story only this time they've amped up everything trying for bigger and better! Never works....
