OK, so your guess is absolutely correct! Also, while I often take dramatic license with my writing, following the advice of my old Uncle Elmo, who often said "Son, never let things that don't matter like facts, logic or the truth get in the way of a good story.", that post is 100% accurate. The funny thing is, men and women read two different things. Every man who's read it is incensed that she would be trying to assert control and to change me on our very first meeting. Every woman who's read it focuses on the dysfunction of the Ant-freeze and WD40 and the 2 x 4s on the porch, etc. That is what I intended, but it has succeeded far beyond all expectations. I will say this. This woman read my vanilla dating profile and contacted me. Take a look at the first paragraph of that profile and see if you think she ought have known not to try and change everything about me on our first meeting: "THIS IS THE MOST HONEST PROFILE ON THE INTERNETS!!! Every woman I've ever met says she wants a man who will accept her for who she is, yet many of those same women want to make me their next remodeling project; just as soon as they get the marble countertops and bamboo floors installed. They also say they're frustrated because the men they've been with communicated mostly through grunts, farts and erections and never opened up to them ....... Well, be careful what you ask for."
