Steel Toe Boots!

Yep! That's right! I bought me a pair!!!!

Some of you know how "woMANLY" I can get and I thought it was bout time I owned some steel toes.

They are not top of the line, just enough so that I can clear brush and not worry too much about my toes being crushed by a small falling tree. Also got them waterproof so when I'm hosing out the fire from burning brush my feet won't get wet Clever eh??

It's that time of year that is fast approaching that makes outside yard work the easiest. I've been waiting for the leaves to start turning to fall and making cutting down with the chainsaw 10X easier. We have already started burning some small brush, nothing like sitting around a fire in the middle of the country, stars shining bright and listening to the crackles and nature roam. These days there is just enough chill in the air for a light long sleeve shirt.

My favorite time of year![/SIZE]

Please, tell me what your favorite time of year is?!

~Lylli~

Watch out. Steel toe boots can take off your toes. If something heavy, talking hundreds of pounds or driven over by a car, fell on the steel toes it can crush the steel and take off the toes.

I recommend being careful when and where you wear the boots. They are good to protect from tools falling.

Be careful.

Thanks for the input. Really I'm just clearing brush. The trees that are coming down I can move with my two hands and I'm not planning on putting my toes under a vehicle's tires anytime soon

I know that the steel isn't unbreakable.....but they come in handy for kicky branches out and all....

SEXY! I like Spring when everything starts to bloom. Here in Las Vegas, it just means wind & allergies.

My favorite time of year is right now, because I am back in Texas. I sure got the wrong idea about you getting steel toe boots... I thought I was going to be able to dance with you without hurting your toes...lol

Lylliana, sounds like you are in a good moood, and I am happy to see you that way.

Take care

Hmmm, I can hardly imagine your excitment. My Work in the oil field makes me wear steel toes all the so I can't wait to take them off every day. However, I do understand the pleasures of some simple yard work. I happen to like winter or more precisely the christmas season the best. Love the colors and decorations and the time with my family.
