Snow....

Yep, you heard right we had a trace of the white stuff yesterday. Of course it melted as soon as it touched ground. But the mere fact that we had some fall so early in the month doesn't bode well for what the rest of the winter will be like. I did two units yesterday, well almost. Still have to take the trash out of one and vacuum the carpets. Something I don't normally do when I do a pre clean in a place. It makes no sense to vacuum. As the painter and the maintenance guys will just mess the place up any how when they go in and do their work, it's the same thing with the hard surface flooring as well. I sweep, but don't mop them till after everyone is out of there. But the one unit really needs the carpets vacuumed, it is that bad. More than likely when the Boss gets back from vacation he'll have me pull the carpet out any way it's that dirty. Both units are in the same building, side by side on the same floor. As different as night and day when it came to how the vacating tenants left them. One was super clean and I barely had to do anything in that one, the other is the aforementioned one with the cruddy carpeting. I still have another unit to do in that same building, that's on tap for today. Doing a walk through, the place looks pretty good so I won't be too long in there cleaning it up. Odd that we have so many move outs in the same building so late in the year. Usually by this time of year people are settled in and getting ready for the holidays, moving being the furthest thing on their minds. I expect the new rent increase is the reason why they opted not to renew their leases. Oh well, what can you do? At least I'll be busy with all the move outs getting them ready for new tenants. Safe and sung inside where it's warm ( that is if the snow holds off  ) Well time for me to hop into my shower now.....

We are supposed to get some flurries today my friend and we have heavy frost on the ground..Time to think about getting all the winter gear out..Damn shovels too..lol. Have a good one Hun.xoxo

Vacuuming the carpet knowing that it will need done again later; sounds like one way of keeping yourself busy while the boss is gone 🤠

The snow we got last weekend has partially disappeared.....I'm happy the tree branches were cleared of the heavy snow!

Here in New Jersey most times we get what you did. Sometimes it will last a few hours or days. Not often a storm. Nothing like it was when I was growing up which was in this area. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.
