 And next Monday is my birthday. I guess I'll have to go over to the store and pick myself up a cake to celebrate huh? Yep, I have a weakness for birthday cakes. The sweet cake, the over the top butter cream icing. An over load of sugar to be sure, but it's only once a year so I indulge. Of course the following Thursday is Thanksgiving.. another day when I usually over indulge in food. I'm not cooking the feast this year. Not even going to be held in my home, I'll be off to my daughters place for the day, and the party.

I've been giving some thought as to where I'd like to go on my Birthday this year. I've narrowed down the choices to two. Being that one place is closer to me most likely I'll go to that one. With snow falling most all day yesterday, the walk there will be easier and the walk home much more so. Not to worry I have my new boots so my feet will be kept warm and dry. Not that any of the snow that fell yesterday stuck mind you. But the saying around here is " If you don't like the weather wait five minutes " I assume that it's going to snow again, it's a given really, as I usually have to trudge through the white stuff on my birthday.

I went into work early yesterday to run sanitizer through all the washing machines in the laundry. Sure enough some one had already been into the place and was washing stuff in two of the machines. So I'm in early today to get the job done in the two that I couldn't do yesterday. As for the rest of the day? I have no idea what's in store for me. We're pretty much caught up on vacant units being done and ready, with only one still in the works, now being painted.

Any who, Time for me to hop into my shower now.....

 Happy to hear you got your new boots to keep your feet warm and dry this Winter. We got a light dusting of it ourselves late last night . I bought a new pair of boots last Winter and this was the first time I sed them this season on my walk to work last night. I am glad you are taking time off for your birthday my hard working man. You so deserve it..xoxo

 Congratulations on the new boots! I'm amazed you have had snow already. I had windows open and short sleeves.
Have you invited any special friends for a visit on your vacation? It might be a good time to reach out and touch someone

Yep, we had snow, and more fell yesterday as well. ( didn't stick ) By Wednesday the weather guys say we'll be back up in the sixties once again...Like I said "You don't like the weather, wait five minutes" Nope, I haven't invited any friends over, but it is a thought.
