Happy HNW ~ Winter Apparel Before I reveal what I've come up with for this weeks' HNW, let me just say that this was a challenge. First, I thought I'd be cheeky and wear some kind of negligee and say, "Well, it's winter attire in Florida". But, then I figured that was just too expected. I don't own any winter hats, scarves, or gloves. The winter coat that I have on reserve for when I visit Michigan is an ugly chocolate brown number that just didn't fit the aesthetic I was going for. I was thankful Florida's weather cooperated somewhat (53F/12C) last night for this scene, though I was still ROASTING and ready to put out the fire almost immediately.  What? Sweaters ARE winter attire.  Happy HNW All! This week's HNW: Pink/Hearts (Or Chocolate) is available on the other side. |

I have a fireplace in my home, too. It would get more use as a storage space. Even when it is cold enough to use, I don't. The thermostat is in the same room so the heater never turns on to warm the rest of the house. I wonder what genius designed that.

Fantastic picuture! You look marvelous and are wearing close to my ideal indoor winter wear. I agree the fire looks great but with the way you look something a lot hotter than the fire will be going before long. Sending big naked hugs to you. You wear your sweater well!!!  My winter clothing in my closet consists of a few sweaters and two light jackets. Just like in Florida my part of Texas has only a few days a year when I need to wear my winter clothes. Funny thing is many of the people I see look like they are living in the artic with the heavy coats and hats.
